Self-paced learning terms and boundaries

Education, not professional care
DrMind self-paced courses provide general education. They are not therapy, counselling, diagnosis, medical care, legal advice, crisis response, or a substitute for an appropriately qualified professional. The Love & Relationships course cannot determine whether a relationship is safe.
Communication, conflict, trust, boundary, and intimacy exercises apply only where a person can safely say no, pause, disagree, and leave without retaliation. No learner is required to involve a partner, confront anyone, disclose a worksheet, reconcile, or forgive.
AI-presenter disclosure
Some course videos use Peter Chen’s authorised HeyGen AI avatar to present narration approved by DrMind. The avatar reproduces approved scripts; it is not a live person, therapist, counsellor, or interactive AI adviser. Supporting illustrations or motion graphics may also be generated with AI and are reviewed as part of the production process.
Access and completion
One purchase grants access to one learner account for six calendar months from verified payment. Modules unlock in the course sequence during active access. Lessons and video playback lock after expiry, while dashboard history and a valid earned certificate remain visible.
Completion requires the published lessons, private-practice confirmations, and scenario-quiz submissions. Required quizzes currently need 80% to pass and allow unlimited retries. The certificate is a non-accredited DrMind certificate of completion, not an academic, clinical, therapeutic, legal, or professional qualification. A refund or chargeback revokes the related access and any certificate tied to that refunded order.
Private practice and account data
Written reflections stay on the learner’s device or downloaded worksheet. Do not enter private reflection text into DrMind forms or support messages. The LMS stores account identity, purchase and access state, playback position, lesson completion, practice confirmation, quiz choice IDs and feedback, learning-path progress, reminder preference, and certificate records.
Course emails use neutral subject lines. Progress reminders can be disabled. The support inbox and LMS are not monitored as emergency services.
